What are “chemical” or “medical grade” peels?

Chemical peels are a highly effective in-clinic treatment that accelerates skin renewal by gently exfoliating the superficial skin layers.

Using professional-grade formulations from The Skin Care Company, your peel can help:

• Refine skin texture and smooth roughness.

• Improve clarity and brighten skin tone.

• Clear congested or oily skin, reduce superficial pigmentation and support overall skin health.

• Stimulate collagen renewal (in deeper protocols) and support a more youthful, resilient complexion.

A series of 4–6 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, is often recommended using the chemical peel range from The Skin Care Company. The exact number of sessions will be tailored during a skin consultation, depending on your skin concern (e.g., pigmentation, texture, ageing) and skin’s response to the treatment as we progress.

If your skin is prepped (as in you have been using active skincare such as lactic acid, vit c, HA, Niacinamide etc for a while) you can just schedule a peel and we can work out which one is best on the day. If you are new to all this, have no current skincare regime or want some more information before going ahead, we advise booking in the Refresh Facial & Skin Consultation first. Please note: Peels should not be done for 2 weeks prior to injectable treatments.
